Summary

I grew up drawing as much as I could. The pencil has always been my trusted friend, a comfortable tool, always there for me. Learning to draw digitally on my iPad Pro, and with different mediums, is so much fun. I've fully embraced this new world.

With the rise of AI-generated artwork, I've integrated these tools into my workflow. I use Midjourney for concepts, then I import into Dall-E (if need be), and then into Photoshop to make my changes, do my over-painting, and add other elements to complete the final work. Fun stuff!

It's definitely an exciting time to be an artist in today's world with the advent of AI-generated art. It's amazing to see what computers can create with the right input (prompting is key), and how it's pushing the boundaries of what it means to be an artist. I understand how some artists feel threatened by this new and amazing tool, but I just love how we can now experiment with this new medium to make new works we might not otherwise create with traditional methods.
